This Gathered Oaks wedding in Minnesota was just absolutely stunning. Jenny & Kyle were a dream to work with, and you could see how much thought and detail they put into every element of their day.
Kyle & Jenny met attending college at NDSU. They were friends, and went on a couple dates in college but didn’t really start dating until 5 years later when they moved out of Fargo. They did the whole long-distance dating thing for 2 years, but after they got engaged Jenny moved to the farm in Argyle, MN.
Speaking of getting engaged, in the wedding planning process I asked Jenny to tell their engagement story, and she wrote this:
“Kyle and I went on vacation to Mexico in January 2018. I had it in my head that he for sure wasn’t going to propose (even though everyone and their mother was speculating that he for sure was). On our first night there we went out to supper at the resort. At dinner, we had the conversation of Kyle asking me to move to Argyle and me saying “not until were engaged sweetums” 😉
Little did I know that Kyle had the ring in his pocket the whole time and when we went for a walk on the beach after supper, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! 🙂“
It was so fun to see the story come full circle at their Gathered Oaks Wedding. They did a first look before their romantic ceremony and then danced the day away with their friends and family. Best day ever.
