I am so glad this wedding is finally reaching the blog!! Parker & Nicole were married at The Hitching Post, which is an amazing venue in Minnesota. And their whole day as full of sunshine, laughter and a whole lot of love.
They started off their day getting ready apart, but decided to do a first look out in the sunny grassy lawn of The Hitching Post venue. Parker was SO excited to see his beautiful bride, and it was so special to hold space for them to have a private moment before their ceremony and celebration with friends and family. Your wedding day is a big deal, and first looks are a great opportunity to have a second alone to really take in the big day together as a couple.
And Parker & Nicole are quite the in-love couple! They have been together for over 7 years! I asked Nicole how they met, and she wrote this:
We met through mutual friends who kept trying to set us up together. They had tried to get Parker to go to one of my school dances with me, but he wouldn’t commit. Several months had passed and my friend invited me to go watch the races in Fergus Falls where Parker raced. After the races, I was introduced to Parker, but he didn’t say too many words to us and was very shy. Several months had passed again and finally Parker started messaging me. We continued to talk and finally he asked me out on a date and the rest is history!
I loved getting to know these two through their process with Fernweh & Liebe, and was so excited to see all their plans come to pass on this beautiful Summer wedding day.
After their portraits & first look, they had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a custom entrance and arch. I love seeing all the details on a wedding day because I know a whole team of people have pulled together ideas and effort to make it all happen! The dusty pink and gray accent colors throughout Parker & Nicole’s day suited them perfectly and looked amazing in photos!!
The newlyweds entered their rustic barn reception and started the party off strong with a first dance! The evening was filled with love, celebration, LOTS of dancing, and cake!! Parker & Nicole, I wish you two nothing but the best! Thanks for choosing us to be your Midwest wedding photographers!
