The first time we had the pleasure of working with Sarah + Justin, it was a similarly frigid day in January just a couple of short years ago. [I say working with vs. meeting because I’ve known Justin since he was the lovable little brother of one of my best friends. Stories for another day though!] We met up with them in Grand Forks, ND for their winter engagement session. It was cold. North Dakota style cold. The kind of cold that might take off a toe or two for fun. Despite that though, we had a wonderful time, loved their pictures and we especially enjoyed their positive attitudes. When they contacted us to let us know they were expecting their first little one, we couldn’t wait to meet up again. Working with these two before and knowing how awesome they are together despite whatever mood mother nature decides to be in, we went ahead and planned a winter wonderland style maternity session in December. It was 100% worth it. It may have been frigid again [and I may have talked Gabe into digging a path not only to where we shot, but also to make sure no cars got stuck], but these two were glowing with love for one another and their growing little one. We’re so excited to watch their family grow and can’t wait to see pictures of their little girl!
